On December 25th, 2002, Pastor Rodney Howard-Browne made a vow to God that he would put all his and his ministry's resources into winning "100 million new souls into the Kingdom of God by the end of 2010". This Pastor Howard-Browne knows the Word of God that it is "...better to not make a vow than to make one and not keep it."
On the 19th of September, 2003, Sword of Truth joined with Pastor Howard-Browne and his ministry and others world wide in the vision of "100 Million Souls by 2010". This is now the one and only focus of Sword of Truth Ministries. It is our Father's vision, too - His only one:
"...that none shall perish but all should come to repentance." [2 Peter 3:9] is what God is all about. God is love, and winning lost souls is showing the greatest type of love that there is.
Sword of Truth Ministries has made a decision that any of the programs that are not producing soul winning will be eliminated as of now. To win 100 million new souls in 7 years will take 14,157,142 new souls into the Kingdom each and every year.
To this end, Sword of Truth is dedicating itself to reaching out to as many areas in the world as possible. We would love for you to join us in anyway that you can. We will gladly send you names and addresses of soul winning ministries in your area to work with if you desire. This is a truly non-denominational effort and cannot be won by denominational bickering. Please help those ministries, including Sword of Truth, to make our Father happy. The only way to make our Father happy is to bring Him souls into the Kingdom.
We will continue monthly articles but some areas of the website will change and more will be added as seen fit.
